When Autumn is upon us
When leaves have special glow
There seems to be such beauty
In all on earth that shows

Colors warm and tender
That give us a new lease
Blanket of bright colors
They cover us in peace

Each path in life we walk now
They each are so defined
With colors of such majesty
That make our souls recline

Peaceful day upon us
That gives us pause to rest
The miracle of Autumn
With colors that are blest

Season starts with glory
When nature takes it's sleep
Before her grandest yawning
Her gift in life unique

For warmth comes in an instant
As leaves turn in the trees
Then softly fall upon the earth
Life's gathered in a breeze.
