Golden Melody



You listen with excitement as the birds sing in the trees
The sunshine on the water sings a golden melody
Leaves that flutter to the ground as soft as angel wings
Watching a garden of beauty as the earth begins to sing

Flowers sparkle brightly in their skirts of colored hue
The green leaves lift their arms up, as if they're hugging you
Tree of oak and cedar, birch and maple too
Lift their bows to heaven and touch the morning dew

Skies of azure blue with soft clouds overhead
Floating in the heavens like a sparkling Autumn brook
An orchestra of nature, so delicate and sweet
Like violins the sound it makes as meadows softly sweep
